Radeon HD 5450 cards in stores

Cheapest AMD DirectX 11 graphics cards, Radeon HD 5450, are now available in stores, and are intended for less demanding users.
Heart of the 5450 cards is the Cedar 40nm chip, which contains 290 million transistors and a TDP of 19.1W. These low-end cards are not a good choice if you want to play the latest games, but they are certainly good for everyday use of computers:
- 80 stream processors
- Core at 650 MHz
- 800 MHz memory for DDR2 (512MB) and 1600 MHz DDR3 (1024MB)
- Memory bus 64-bit
- 4 ROP units
Primarily this card should replace the old low-end Radeon HD 4xxx series and to try to compete with Nvidia Geforce 210 cards. ATI Eyefinity technology is supported, and available video outputs are D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. Radeon HD 5450 cards should be in the low-profile form with passive heatsinks.
The price should go from 40 to 55 €, depending on the amount of memory. Below you can see the picture of rhe XFX 5450 video card.
